The Guerrilla Girls are masked crusaders disrupting the status quo of the "billionaire boys club" of the art world. They will keep their identities a secret throughout the film - focusing our attention on their campaigning message rather than on the details of their personal biographies. They will wear their trademark gorilla masks for filming. In the week of a major installation at the Beyond the Streets gallery in Los Angeles, Kate explores their unique collaborative working process, their "art of behaving badly", and their continued motivation after 40 years of campaigning for equality of opportunity and representation in the art world.
