Gate Keepers Season 1 Episode 3

Gate Keepers: Shun decides to transfer schools. He tells his family that he is moving because of Kendo. Saemi is pretty upset about it. Shun moves into his dorm right across the way from Ruriko. They can look into each others� windows.At school, a strange jingle about using soap suds to wash your hands plays. Ruriko recognizes it as the emergency call and they enter the AEGIS headquarters under the school. There, the commander tells them of Reiko Asagiri, a savant when it comes to playing the piano. It is said that people have beautiful dreams when listening to her play. There are also rumors that the invaders are after her. Ruriko and Shun are to go guard her and figure out if she�s a Gate Keeper in the process.But first, Shun is given his Earth Defense License and a wooden sword which contains a miniature energy amplifier that will react to his gate ability. They also get a new car, the UP-15 aka Yotahachi, tweaked by chief mechanic Megane. Shun decides to test the car out on their way to Reiko�s place, driving as fast as he can. They are stopped and lectured by a policeman who is completely apologetic once he sees the Earth Defense License. Reiko is a complete airhead and is unable to answer any question Ruriko asks. Shun asks about her fashion show appearance, which gets the two kicked out of the house. They then hear Reiko play the piano and the environment changes to a forest. They decide to go to her recital to hopefully learn more.At the recital, Reiko plays on the white, grand piano given to her by her parents. When she plays, the environment changes to an underwater scene. The invaders, who were disguised as theater workers, cannot stand the music and fall to the ground. Grabbing earplugs, they attack. Ruriko and Shun learn quickly to go for the ears, but then the red commander alien shows up in a large stereo and proceeds to drown out the piano music with electric guitar music. Megane steps in to be sound engineer and sets the acoustics of the piano to drown out the guitar. Angered, the invaders break the piano. That�s enough to set Reiko off. She opens her gate and stuffed toys come out to fight. The stereo is defeated.
