What's Your Number?

A woman looks back at the past twenty men she's had relationships with in her life and wonders if one of them might be her one true love. Review: "What's Your Number?" follows the standard Rom-Com formula as all the other Katherine Heigl or Jennifer Aniston movies that came before it. The only difference is this one is actually funny and has a bunch of laugh out loud jokes. The reason this film is so much better than the other R-rated Rom-Com's is that Anna Faris is a true comedienne and is not afraid to show a little butt-cheek to get a laugh. She is essentially the whole reason to see this film. Chris Evans, Blythe Danner, and Ed Begley Jr. make up the fine supporting cast. The jokes are mostly foul, crude, and unsophisticated but the audience at my showing was laughing throughout most of the film. The ending gets saccharine and sentimental at the end, but most of these types of films do that. If you have felt cheated by the films of Jennifer Aniston and Katherine Heigl, you should check out "What's Your Number?"

$Watch Jackass 3D Gomovies-This movie is great. The jackass team re-unites for what seems to be the last one in the series. They are getting older, and after seeing this movie, I\'m surprised they are still in somewhat good health. You will laugh, cringe, and stare in awe at the spectacle that is Jackass 3D. Well first off, its exactly what you would expect. No story, just stunts and pranks, all in slow-motion 3D. There are some hilarious pranks and stunts (midget bar fight) and some disgusting ones (Poop Cocktail Supreme). Knoxville, Lacy, Bam, Wee-man, Steve-O, Pontius, Jonze and Dunn are all back and better than ever. For those who are weary about seeing it in 2D or 3D, its kinda hit and miss. Some stunts are great for 3D (especially the conclusion and bee-ball tether ball) and others do nothing to aid it. If you were to see it 2D, then your not missing anything. If you see it in 3D, then the extra 5 bucks will be worth it. I don\'t have many complaints about the movie. The slow-mo may have been used a little too often, there is a little too much male nudity in my opinion, and some stunts are just flat out gross (Poop Geysers). Overall, this movie is great. Its appalling, its crude, its grotesque and most off all, it will have you peeing your pants.$

King of the Avenue (

$Watch King of the Avenue Gomovies-This was one of those films that was great from start to finish. I have been a fan of Ryan Combs since the Straight out of Compton days and I have literally watched his growth from movies I found amusing, to films that I remember in my everyday life. King Of The Avenue is a fantastic character movie. You actually fell like your part of this crew of men who have one thing on there mind, becoming the king. It\'s fun to watch them elevate to the top crew, but really, that\'s when the movie starts. I know this is a independent, but I think this is one of the best roles I\'ve seen Ving Rhames in. My girlfriend and I voted Ving Rhames as the last person we would want to run into in a dark alley, or a park on a nice summers day for that matter. Ving is awesome in this film.$

Red (2010)

$Watch Red Gomovies-Frank (Bruce Willis) is retired, bored and lonely living off his government pension in a nondescript suburb in an equally nondescript house. The only joy in Frank\'s life are his calls to the government pension processing center when he gets to talk to his case worker Sarah (Mary-Louis Parker). Sarah is as bored and lonely as Frank and marks her conversations with the unknown Frank and her spy novels as the only things fun in her life. When something in Frank\'s past forces Frank back into his old line of work and puts an unwitting Sarah in the middle of the intrigue, Frank and Sarah begin a journey into Franks past and the people he used to work with. Like Frank they are all RED ... Retired Extremely Dangerous. In the film Bruce Willis plays Frank Moses, a man who is RED (Retired and Extremely Dangerous). Over a long period, hes had an over the phone relationship with a Kansas City receptionist named Sarah (Played by Mary Louise-Parker). After a rather intense invasion of his home by mysterious gunmen, he travels to Kansas City, and kidnaps Sarah, fearing that the people who want him dead, may also want to kill her, and also tries to always keep one foot ahead of a CIA agent named William Cooper (Played by Karl Urban). He seeks help from old, and equally dangerous friends such as Cancer-stricken, but intelligent Joe Matheson (Played by the legendary Morgan Freeman), excessively paranoid stealth-man Marvin Boggs (Played by John Malkovich), and caring, but fiery assassin Victoria (Played by Helen Mirren). This film really is, in every way, a mindlessly fun popcorn flick, filled to the brim with laughs, and reckless action sequences, kind of in the same category as Roland Emmerichs Independence Day, minus the aliens, and on a considerably smaller scale. The movie may present a bit of elements that has been seen in a number of films, but its stylistic approach, and clever wit is what makes it better than most of those. Aside from a great cast Ive mentioned earlier, it also includes appearances by other legends like Ernest Borgnine, Brian Cox, and Richard Dreyfuss. The main cast is really what makes it so great, such as Bruce Willis, whos definitely still got what it takes as an action star. Mary Louise-Parker could have been great, but as it goes, shes rather good. Helen Mirren is very effective in somewhat short screen time, as is Morgan Freeman, albeit to a fairly lesser extent. But the true standout is John Malkovich, whose character is so fun, so bizarre, and utterly, and hilariously paranoid (Often for nothing but good reasons). Its oh-so enjoyable, reckless, witty, and brimming with action. The cast specifically get a lot of laughs...$

Sus (2010)

$Watch Sus Gomovies-With the election looming, \'80s anti-fascist demonstrations back in the news and controversy over stop-and-search still raging, the release of ‘Sus\' is auspicious. Based on Barrie Keefe\'s 1979 stage play, this claustrophobic, intense three-hander was inspired by the late \'70s law that gave police officers the right to detain on suspicion anyone they saw fit, usually young black men. Betraying its theatrical origins, the film takes place in a single police interview room on election night, as thuggish Thatcherite cops Karn (Ralph Brown) and Wilby (Rafe Spall) attempt, by any means, to extract a confession from unemployed labourer Delroy (Clint Dyer) following the unexplained death of his wife. It\'s morally one-sided and the dialogue and acting tends towards the mannered and overblown – Spall in particular comes off like a ‘Fast Show\' bad-cop parody at times. But overall this is a well structured, emotionally rigorous piece of filmmaking, and a timely reminder of the dangers of unchecked police power *Sus is a timely and dynamic piece of filmmaking from Rob Heath and is complimented by the acting performances of Clint Dyer, Ralph Brown and Rafe Spall who demand attention from the 1st minute of the film to the very last. Similar to Michael Caines performance in the film Harry Brown, Sus reeks of authenticity, a realness about the British society and the moral fabric which truly exists whether it be 1979 or 2010. A film for our times indeed.$

Its no surprise that Sean Byrnes relentlessly blood-soaked The Loved Ones won the Cadillac Peoples Choice Award at TIFFs midnight screening. The young Australian writer/director has since been hard-pressed for free time as many in Hollywood have been vying for his attention. Since the films premiere in Toronto, Byrne has been making frequent trips to LA and has been invited to speak with top execs. On this particular trip, Byrnes schedule has been tightly booked from morning until night on every single day thus far, including weekends. $Watch Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of GaHoole Online Gomovies-Soren, a young barn owl, is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie\'s, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga\'Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie\'s. The film is based on the first three books in the series. Legend of the Guardians: Owls of Ga\'Hoole surprised me. I was expecting a childish movie, but this in fact is for a much more mature audience, kids will not like it for sure as it is really dark. Snyder stays in lieu of his previous films with his infamous slow motion effect. The visual effects are absolutely dazzling, it nearly looks real down to the feathers. it is in fact one of the most biggest visual masterpiece ever, extraordinary splendid special effects. In short, it\'s one of the best animated films of the year. It\'s the perfect movie to bring your family (and maybe friends as well) and enjoy. Have no worries, sit back, and enjoy the ride. And seeing it in 3D is a plus, no matter what anyone else says. The ending also hints at a sequel. Hope that\'s a possibility as Warner Bros. has a potential new family franchise at their hands. And I hope Snyder returns as well. Story-wise, it\'s obviously unoriginal, but it is told very well. This is due to the animation, which is absolutely, spectacularly stunning. There is a great amount of detail in the film, especially on the owls, you can see every feather, every movement they make, every gust of wind that brushes that pass their feathers. Director Zack Snyder (finally using his talents for the kids) puts his signature style to terrific use here, using the \$

Monsters (2010)

$Watch Monsters Gomovies-The Monsters is a unique masterpiece written and directed by Gareth Edwards in the year 2010. The Monsters was kind of a B-movie, or at least didn\'t get the attention it deserves. By my opinion it\'s almost a perfection, it\'s really well written, and all the speeches are made up by the writer/director Gareth Edwards. The Boondock Saints is the 34 year old Gareth Edwards\'s first movie, and his second one, The Monsters 2: The Repentanence is in production and is coming later this year. The Monsters is a action/crime and drama film and for all I know, a pretty good one (believe me, seen it about 30 times). The Monsters tells the story of a cynical journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through an infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border. The Monsters is just amazing, great, a masterpiece. It\'s well written and Whitney Able and Scoot McNairy are amazing as the \'Monsters\'. I gave the Monsters 10/10 (excellent). It\'s probably the best movie I\'ve ever seen, I don\'t know how many times I\'ve watched it, but it must be at least over 30 times. The Monsters did not get the attention it deserves and still doesn\'t, being one of the greatest ever made. Especially in this genre (Action/Giant Squid/Romance). If you haven\'t seen it, I highly recommend that you do it as soon as possible and if you\'ve already seen it, do it again.$

Legendary (2010)

$Watch Legendary Gomovies-Because of this being a WWE Films release, there are going to be some that will automatically condemn the movie. It\'s a shame, because this is a really good film. John Cena\'s involvement is actually minimal. The focus is on his younger brother. The story is about a young man named Cal who had a dad and an older brother, who were great amateur wrestlers. The father is killed in a car accident while he and the older brother Mike(played by Cena) are going to scout an opponent. The death causes a rift in the family. Mike blamed himself, and the mother (played by Clarkson) blamed him too. Ten years after the accident, Cal has decided to start wrestling. Being awkward and clumsy, he seeks out Mike to train him. He uses the amateur wrestling in hopes of not only coming out of his shell, but also in putting his family back together in. This is by far the best of the films WWE has put out. It has a lot of heart, and tells a good story. Even if you are not into amateur wrestling, they still make it easy to follow. I wish WWE would have actually gotten more behind this rather than releasing it to just a few select screens, and then rushing it to DVD. They didn\'t even advertise it outside of WWE programming. This is a film that they could have made more money on.$

30 Days of Night: Da

$Watch 30 Days of Night: Dark Days Gomovies-I haven\'t seen the original mainly because movies filmed with no color turn me off, so I can\'t compare it to the the fist one. As a stand alone movie Dark Days works very well. Stella, who I understand is a survivor from part I, is giving lectures at universities about vampires. Since she knows no one believes her, this time around in LA she has a demo planned. High intensity UV lights are turned on, and sure enough, some vampires among the audience go up in flames. Stella then is approached the by a group of vampire hunters who want to kill Lilith, the queen vampire, to put an end to it all. They are mentored by a reformed vampire named Dane, who also sent letters to Stella. They embark on their mission but their early attempts in the sewers are unsuccessful. Then they board a ship where Lilith is. The group only consists of 4 people. Stella, two guys and another girl, who initially presents herself as the tough chick and hates Stella, but turns out to be a complete fool and pretty annoying, too. This movie is very enjoyable and entertaining. It takes the vampire genre seriously and doesn\'t turn it into a comedy or romance. There are plenty of good gory death scenes. What impresses most though is Kiele Sanchez\'s performance. She gives it her all, as she has done in some of her other work. And she is very attractive. Also nice is that a good part of this movie is filmed during the day and the colors are vivid. The story itself is nothing spectacular but, as mentioned, the virtue of this movie is that it\'s a much needed return to a good serious vampire movie and has good performances and lots of gore.$
